The Soothing Succulent
Aloe Vera is a beautiful and useful plant known for its healing gel and sculptural leaves. It’s easy to care for and adds a fresh, natural touch to any room.
Light & Temperature:
Aloe Vera loves bright, indirect sunlight and can handle a few hours of direct sun. It thrives in warm, dry air and should be kept away from cold drafts.
Watering:
Allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Water deeply, letting excess drain out. In winter, reduce watering to once every few weeks.
Feeding:
Feed lightly once or twice during the growing season with a cactus or succulent fertilizer.
Repotting Tips:
When the plant becomes root-bound or produces pups, move it to a slightly larger pot with well-draining cactus soil. Remove and replant any baby offshoots if you’d like to grow more Aloe Vera.
Pruning & Care:
Remove any dried or damaged leaves near the base. Keep the plant in a bright spot, and it will reward you with steady growth and fresh, plump leaves.
