Aromatic and Evergreen
Rosemary is a fragrant, woody herb that brings both flavor and a touch of greenery to any space. It thrives in sun and loves a bit of TLC.
Light & Temperature:
Rosemary loves full sun, at least 6 hours daily. Indoors, a south-facing window or grow light works best. It prefers temperatures around 65–75°F and doesn’t like excessive humidity.
Watering:
Keep the soil slightly dry between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot, so let the top inch of soil dry out before watering again.
Feeding:
A light feeding every 4 to 6 weeks with a balanced fertilizer encourages healthy growth. Avoid heavy feeding, which can make the flavor less concentrated.
Repotting Tips:
Move rosemary to a slightly larger pot when roots crowd the container. Use well-draining soil and gently loosen roots before planting. Water lightly after repotting.
Harvesting:
Trim stems regularly to encourage bushy growth. Snip only what you need for cooking while leaving plenty of leaves for the plant to stay healthy.
